Straight ladder:

Mount the cross foot

Make sure that the rung hooks

lifting lock

are engaged.
NOTE: An angle of 65° to 75° to the
horizontal must be kept (see Fig.

).
Stepladder:
i
Mount the cross foot

(see Fig.

).

Lift both sliding parts and spread them.
i
Insert the two upper retaining pins (see Fig.
b
)
into the hinge stop slots.
i
Open the ladder until the holding belts are
pulled tight (see Fig.
c
).
